Vertigo is a more severe and intense spinning sensation that can cause nausea and vomiting. Main couses of vertigo are:
- Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) – is the most common type of vertigo. It is usually triggered when you move your head suddenly, or in a particular direction.
- Labyrinthitis or Vestibular Neuritis (Ear Infection)
- Motion Sensitivity
- Post- Concussion Symptoms
- Cervicogenic Dizziness (neck problems)
All cases of vertigo require proper diagnosis. Most cases requires modern labyrinth examination called VNG test. VNG device is available in our practice.
